Salesman Pete Friesen had no interest in selling me a custom ordered trailer from a local manufacturer they distribute for. It seemed that he only wanted to clear out what they had in stock. I came here in winter of 2016/2017 to look at a brand new trailer that was for sale on the lot. My previous place of employment had purchased a trailer here and were happy with the experience. I had full intention of paying cash in full for the one I wanted, and I informed him I was seriously looking to buy. The price was reasonable for what they had in stock. However, I wanted to buy something with a few extra options and wanted it custom built from factory so that I was getting a new trailer fully painted that was ready for work and required no further modifications for my needs. I had several conversations with Pete in attempt to have him provide me a spreadsheet or list with the individual cost of all the options I wanted so that I could make sure it was within budget, and choose the most wanted ones if the total cost was too high. He was negligent to provide me with any sort of information, stating what they have in stock is what I get to choose from. I decided to call Rainbow Trailers, the manufacturer. They stated that they could custom build a trailer with the options I wanted (and I gave examples) with no problems, but I had to purchase through a dealer. Fair enough. I ended up looking at a couple other dealers, and found an extremely helpful and knowledgeable salesman Stan Hildebrandt at Penner Trailers. He provided me with a professional spreadsheet I was able to automatically calculate and see the cost of my options and final price. Sold! I ordered my custom built trailer through them, they set me up with a few other accessories and I've been back there for parts and accessories since. I am thoroughly unimpressed at the lack of motivation or interest Pete showed me at Wilfs. By doing so, your business lost out on selling a near $8k trailer, not to mention the poor word of mouth and I will hesitate before ever going back here for anything in the future. I know it was just one salesman, but it ruined my experience. I know its not a $100k truck, but it was still just as important to me to get a good salesman for my trailer as I would want if I was purchasing a new vehicle. I'm happy to refer anyone in the market for a trailer or parts/service to the same place I ended up buying with. Penner Trailers.

Wilf's is always worth the drive. The staff is expecting me and greet me by name when I walk in. I feel they take an interest in meeting my service and repair needs over and above what other dealerships offer. The points system is an added bonus!
