Long-story short: This business owner must not be trusted. It's understandable that we sometimes forget things - but an engine replacement is hard to forget. It seems to me that his strategy was to take advantage of person by bending the truth on important details. Up-selling a vehicle having low mileage for it's age - while withholding the fact of the engine being replaced. Long-story detailed: Went to this establishment looking to spend hard earned cash on a car today. Ended up walking around the lot for about 5 minutes or so and then an employee came to me. I stated what I was looking for and what I was willing to spend. As time rolls on we eventually spent time talking with the owner (his boss) about a certain vehicle. The vehicle was 12 years old with 86k miles on it and seemed promising! They spoke of it only needing an oxygen sensor replacement but had the part coming in the mail. All of their talk was based on the fact of the mileage on the vehicle being low. I was offered to take it on a test drive and so, I did. I must admit, I am not savvy with automobiles in any way, shape, or form. So I take it to my mechanic to have him inspect the vehicle. We popped the hood and then instantly my mechanic tells me the engine has been replaced. Doesn't end up looking at anything else! With the engine being replaced, the odometer reading 86k miles doesn't mean ANYTHING! I then told my mechanic the price of the vehicle ($3,700) and he told me that price was way too high. In conclusion, I go back to the Michigan Auto Trader and give a honest offer between $2,200-$2,500 when then resulted in a no-deal. Nice try though on their part! I would have thought the vehicle had only 86k miles on it and that I got a good deal! But alas, with the advice of my mechanic I avoided a disaster waiting to happen! Do your research, get the vehicle inspected, offer an honest price, and then see the look on this business owner's face! Hahahaha

So I was trying to buy a car. I picked out 2 cars and took both to my mechanic. Who told me to run not walk. These cars have an orange title which means savage title. You don't know what you are getting into. When I asked for my deposit back because the owner was not honest about his cars, he got hostile. No respect for his customers. I expected some human decency considering the fact that I am pregnant and alone trying to buy a car from Michigan auto trader. My mechanic i was looking at $2000 dollars in repairs after buying this car.

Jay promised me my Mustang was not a Salvage...after getting my Tittle it clearly states it's a salvage. Stay far away from this dealership very sneaky when it comes to their sales tactics. Many things were wrong with this car especially the suspension. I have never bought a car with more problems and I will be seeking legal counsel on this...I recommend you RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
