Stop parking your cars on the damn sidewalk.

James and the team at Downtown Automotive fixed paint damage to our vehicle same day at a fair price in a professional manor. They really helped us out in a pinch.

Sadly I must do this. I can't say it was shady of them, ignorance or what but...here goes. I am from out of state and purchased a vehicle here at Downtown Automotive, at that time TAX was collected at a 6% rate. I specifically stated will we have to pay tax in our home state. To which I was told WE HAVE TO COLLECT OUT OF STATE TAX .. BUT the tax collected will be credited to your state and you'll have to pay the difference, here in Georgia it's 7%. So I was responsible for the other 1% right ... WRONG Georgia does not have an agreement with Michigan so I was responsible for the full 7%. I IMMEDIATELY contacted Downtown and was completely ignored voicemail email etc.. ignored. I have since made another 2 purchases from Michigan dealers who do NOT collect tax and have told me anyone who does is unethical. I would tend to agree. The good deal on the vehicle was overshadowed by the fact I got taken for 6% additional cost I should not have paid to these con men.
