I bought a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox about a week ago and I had a great buying experience. The sales person was Victor and he was very nice and professional with a pleasant and friendly attitude. I was very impressed. I also want to extend my compliments to Lucy, Financial Services Manager, as she was helpful and prompt in replying to my email correspondence and she had the financial things done quickly. As for the car, so far, so good, it runs smoothly, it is a very nice car and it is a pleasure driving it. Thank you Victor, and thank you Lucy, as well!

I had brought my vehicle in three times regarding a “sweet smelling odour” from under my hood while vehicle was under warranty. The smell continues to stay for the duration of these times I brought it in. Pressure testing was done with nothing to be found. After vehicle was no longer under warranty after a month the smell continued to get stronger and one night my car would not warm up and my thermostat started to jump. I looked under my hood and noticed I had no coolant (I.e., the smell I had been noticing). I brought my car back to the dealership the following day at which point a leak was found in two locations after doing a pressure test and a quote of 721$ was originally given (the parts only cost 100 directly from GM). I had a mechanic friend do it for slightly over the cost of parts. After this mechanic fixed the problems that were found I drove my car still noticing a strong smell. I brought my car to a mechanic who was available the following day to find out that the leak had in fact been in three places and had obviously been leaking for quite a while. The major leak involved a more extensive repair job which actually cost me less from the mechanic then what it would have been to fix the repairs for the first issue with the dealership. I did speak to the dealership manager and they did offer me a reduced cost to fix by a few hundred dollars. I also spoke with GM customer service as our family has currently four GM vehicles and has continued service with them for many years. Personally not knowing much about cars I found it discouraging to have been right about a leak but not have this found by a mechanic working specifically on GM vehicles on numerous occasions.

The salesperson we had was Joe. He helped my son as if he was is own son. This meant a great deal. The top notch service was truly remarkable and gave us that positive warm and fuzzy feeling leaving the dealership. We would recommend Joe to anyone who's looking for sincere advice on their purchase. My son Adam is quite pleased with his first car purchase and is already sharing his great experience with Joe with many of his relatives and friends. Again, thanks a million!! Grateful Father, K.Kaiser

Worst customer service dealership. I made an appointment for 7am and when I got there they told me nothing was on file and that their mechanic that was supposed to do the work for me arrives at 9am, so I told them I would wait until he arrives and works on my vehicle because it was supposed to be a small job. After waiting for a while I decided to have someone pick me up because I had to go to work and told them to call me when the car was ready. So they called me at 12 that they hadn't worked on my car yet and that it would take 3 hours to do the job and they gave me the total for the repair. I told them to not do the work and that I would pick up the car right away. When I got there I told them they had wasted my time showing up for a 7am appointment and nothing was done. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, very unorganized and unprofessional, they give you the runaround, they send you to speak with one person then that person sends you to the next and make you waste your time at the end.

Never go to this dealer for servicing. Allan Dewar is the most uptight disrespectful person, he only cares about money and not about the customer. I had a 2014 Chevy Trax that had a head gasket leak. I got servicing done under warranty, but it was done poorly and the gasket BURST while I was driving. When I brought it back my service adviser personally spoke to Allan to inform him about the problem. Allan refused to acknowledge that his team had poorly installed the gasket, and tried to get ME to pay for the repair. He claimed I drove the vehicle "too hard" and it was caused due to abuse of the engine. After arguing for nearly half hour, he agreed to fix the gasket AGAIN, but never apologized for the problem happening initially. I have not visited the dealer since that day, and will never be returning. I will gladly drive to the next nearest dealer rather than deal with the wretched servicing at Hogan. Mr. Dewar, please learn to treat customer with respect, as we are the only reason you still have your job.
