These guys are Useless! I have an issue with poor service from the dealership in Kingston, which damaged one of my tire and would not own to their mistake. After almost 3 months of taking time off, going back and forth, waiting hours for them to try and fix it, I decided that was enough when they just wanted me to go again to look at it for a 4th time... Well, I contacted Lexus Canada "customer assistace", they just said to keep dealing with those incompetent... Just useless I tell you! SMH

Love the cars, love the service. Especially the afternoon/night time hours for service. The service manager Ali is amazing and very knowledgeable. It's a pleasure dealing with him.

Disappointed at the excuses made not to change or machine my RX350 rotors under goodwill. The rotors have warped after just 2 years and 22,000 km and is the third problem I have had with this car. As I have my cars serviced by my mechanic of 10 years at a well-established independent Oakville garage, Lexus are of the view he didn't do it correctly or didn't perform the brake service correctly and that is why the rotors warped. Not the recent hot weather and poor quality steel. I did not use Lexus as their quote was for $1,000 (tax incl) for a Service 3 (essentially a car inspection, brake flush and oil change). The independent garage was $500 (tax incl) for essentially the same service. Lexus Canada requires mechanics "Remove brake calipers and/or brake drums. Inspect and measure brake rotors, drums, pads and shoes". Notably, Lexus USA, which includes Buffalo (because I asked them), requires only "visually Inspect Brake Pads, Calipers and Rotors" i.e. if the mechanic is satisfied with a visual inspection, no further action is necessary. Personally, I think Lexus are reaching. Prospective owners should be aware that overpriced maintenance service will be required to maintain the warranty. As regards the RX350, I believe Lexus isn't the quality it used to be. My RX350 went in twice for a jammed driver door and again for a laggy transmission, both of which are common factory faults.

After having owned other Luxury car brands, such as Audi and BMW, I thought of purchasing a Lexus after hearing about its reliability and quality. I had high hopes about the build quality of a Lexus. But it has been a disappointment for me after driving it for only 6 months. On 21st of December, 2017, I saw some warning lights flashing in my car – ICS, Lane Departure Warning , etc. I thought it was probably a false positive. Next morning I saw the same signs and took the car to the service department of Lexus of Oakville. Upon diagnosis, they told me that that the front right lower control arm, the ball-joint and right front rim needs to be replaced along with wheel alignment. The total cost of this repair was estimated to be about $1688. To my surprise, they told me that the issue wasn’t covered under warranty. I didn’t hit any object to have caused these issues. I am astonished to know that Lexus has such poor quality parts which fail on normal roads even when the vehicle is brand new. I bought an expensive vehicle, because I expected some level of quality , safety and reliability from Lexus. I never had these issues with my BMW or Audi or even a Honda and Mazda. Why would someone spend on a new and expensive car like Lexus, if the parts have such a poor quality and are not even covered under warranty? To my further research, most of these parts (front lower control arm) are the same as the ones used for a much cheaper Toyota Highlander or Venza but only the brand stamp Lexus makes them way more expensive. Based on my negative experience, I am sad to believe that Lexus RX 350 is not a safe vehicle if it is so delicate that even the normal conditions can cause such a huge damage. I even got the car checked by an independent mechanic and I was told that the wheel was not bent or anything. After changing the initial parts, they told me that the wheel hub needs to be changed as well, bringing the total cost of repair close to $2500. This is clearly a quality issue caused by defective parts which should have been changed under warranty. Lexus denied my claim and I had to pay out my pocket. I have seen many other complaints on Better Business Bureau against Toyota/Lexus as they find ways to deny warranty claims. If the car is showing these signs, within 6 months of use, I don’t know what would happen in the later of years of ownership. A piece on advise to everyone, don't buy a Lexus, if you a expect a solid and quality car. It is just another Toyota wrapped in Satin with 90 percent of Toyota's parts.
