I visited the location December 2018, and no I did not purchase anything as I'm not a gambler. My poor review of this business is for its lack of transparency regarding practice through various medium. If anyone is interested in vehicles through this business be sure to understand what you are agreeing to and research the place before you visit.

I usually don’t bother with reviews however I wanted to share my positive experience with the purchase of my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 Red Mica from Vincent the salesperson and Eran the manager which they went above and beyond to exceed my expectations . When I picked up my car it was detailed to perfection had new brakes and they even replaced the 2 front tires as they where getting low on tread. They also did an oil change and replaced the shift knob as it was a little scuffed up . That was a nice little surprise and from now on they gained my trust for all my servicing and car needs in the future . They have an amazing Espresso machine and made me feel welcome while I was waiting to finalize paperwork.

Sept 2018 - Horrible experience. As a first time car buyer I was excited to visit Downsview Auto after hearing good things about this dealership. Upon arrival I met salesperson Vincent who (did not even introduce himself) and proceeded to show me listings of cars on a wall and went back to eat his lunch. As I would have preferred to been shown cars on the lot and walked through what the best options for me would be based on my budget and needs, I came back to ask Vincent for help and told him I wasn’t happy how I was dealt with. He then told me he let me look at the tiny listings on the wall because it was busy. There were two people in the store including myself, who had gotten there first. ??? I asked Vincent if there was anyone else that could help me or if anyone else worked there and he said no. He refused to give me the contact info of the owner or anyone in higher authority until continuously asking. As a business owner, I was highly disappointed in the “service” I got here. Maybe my 5k budget was too small to be given the time of day here! Coming into a dealership I would have expected to be greeted, welcomed and walked through what options were available instead of the do it yourself model I got here, which I could have gladly done online and not left my house for. If anyone else at this dealership is actually willing to help I’d love to give them a second chance.

STAY AWAY, DELIVERY STANDARDS ARE BELOW PAR AND OWNER DOES NOT LIVE UP THE HIS WORD. I am still waiting on my gas card based on the agreement that you wasted our time and money to aquire specific documents in order to finalize the sale. This was all due to your UNEDUCATED team misinforming us not only about the documents you required which in turn we had to leave our work travel all the way to BARRIE and back to finalize the sale, but also about the state of the car we would be receiving. It was not detailed as promised, we had to wait around to have the sunroof fixed ( as it was not documented by your team) , and the lack of communication as to when the car would be ready for pick up. I look forward to receiving this gas card which i assume will be a fair amount. Reply to your ridiculous comment: You make it sound like you did me such a favour (regarding the sunroof) when in reality it was suppose to be done as per your "warranty and delivery standards". You and I sat in that office with witnesses where you told me to my face that you and your team screwed up. You gave me your word that you would accommodate the inconvenience and now you are going back on your word. Instead of replying to every terrible review with 5 year old child-like excuses, how hard would it be to satisfy at least one of your customers? Because I am still waiting...

Best experience I’ve had buying a used car. They worked with me and treated with respect. They explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. Car was ready on time told me everything that needed to be fixed. They kept me in the loop as to what was needed to be done. I will definitely be back to buy from them again when it comes time to buy another car.
