I went to take a test drive of Golf EV. The Golf EV was not available for test driving since it has more than 1 year of waiting period. I was still interested to know more about it's features. The sales person there discouraged me to buy Golf EV and told me that if he had choice he wouldn't wait for it.

Went to check out some used Jettas and were helped initially by Vanessa, who was friendly and patient. The cars looked good and had a nice test drive with her, were pretty interested and asked about pricing and financing. At this point the sales director Matthieu came in, took over, and made such a hilariously arrogant display of why his cars were so good and he couldn't budge on the price, slowly laying down highlighted printouts of cars from other dealerships (I've seen them all, guy, how do you think I found your dealership?), trying to prove his authority or something. Anyway he quoted the wrong price for his own car, said they never sat more than 30 days when it's been there for 100+, and since listing they've dropped it $1500 so probably a bit of room to budge, right? All pretty much BS for no reason, out of nowhere and why deal with that? There's plenty of other dealers so can't say I'd recommend this one. Just looking for a car not outdated salesman tactics. Or maybe leave it to Vanessa next time.

They charged me 300 dollars just to make me an estimate for repairs when my car wouldn't start. They told me that my starter was broken and that it damaged my flywheel and that repairs would be $2000. My car is 16 years old and not even worth 2k at this point so I told them I was going to tow it elsewhere for repairs. They didn't even put my engine back together which was slightly annoying. And when I went to pick it up they just kept telling me my flywheel needed to be repaired. I'm glad I didn't listen to them. I had it towed somewhere else for repairs and they bench tested the starter and it was fine. If vw had done that they would have seen that wasn't the issue. Not only that, guess what! The flywheel was fine too. Turns out that I needed a starter with a longer shaft. The one I had put in a few months prior just wasn't long enough. $400 dollars later and my car works better than ever. They fixed my car for the amount of money you charged me to look at it for an hour. So thanks for taking advantage of me.

Call to let them know that you coming from far to see a specific car and they sell it to someone else. Very disappointed.
