After speaking to consumers protection, It comes to my attention to publicise this issues before it goes any further!
Résumé du problème:
Contesting false advertisement and service neglect with additional inappropriate and invalidated charges for the vehicles purchased on February 23 2018 and March 19 2018 at 9178-0940 Quebec inc. « Auto Publique » in Laval (2354 boulevard cure-Labelle, Laval QC H7T 1R1)
I have been sold a Volkswagen Passat tsi 2015 comfortline sport edition, validated by Volkswagen (2475 boulevard Chomedey, Laval, QC H7T 2R2), whereas on my vehicle purchase contract specifies that I have bought a Volkwagen Passat tsi 2015 HIGHLINE. False advertisement has been committed here. As a car dealership professional, he/she has to evaluate each and every car to validate the right information before selling to a particular, which in this case was not done. Next I have been charged a 395$ transit paper whereas a transit value is of 9$ to 25$ no more. I have also been charged 499$ of « N accessories » unspecified, and I have not been given any explication on these accessories or any documentation on these accessories offered. A fee of administration of 695$ has also been charged with no further explanation. The dealer X who has taken care of my dossier since the beginning has failed to answer any text messages or calls I have made to try and contact him in regards to these accusations I am making. He has succeeded to hide from my rights. I also add to mention, I have purchased a « Honda civic 2012 EX » from them month back in mid-February and have gotten into an accident with it on March 05 2018. Since then my previous insurance broker « Intact assurance » has refunded me an amount of 10,342,00$ to pay for the claim, « reference #: 4166647 ». X (dealer) was then notified by myself that I would have to pay my financial institution to clear my loan in order to proceed getting a new vehicle to drive with. X (dealer) then asked me to give him the total check, sign the back of the check and he would deposit it at the td in Laval nearby the dealership and clear my loan. He also mentioned to me that he would then bring over my balance loan onto my new car loan which was approximately 2,505,80$. X has failed to pay the remainder of my first td auto loan which I still owe a balance, and has not carried over that balance into my new loan. Which now means I have 2 loans under my name. I have been contacted by TD Auto Finance, and they have clarified with me that this was very* unusual and that Auto publique should not have done that action and it was unlikely for any car dealership owner to do. Once a car is totaled (perte total) and the insurance pays a check back to a particular it is supposed to cover any fees left on the vehicle. And the remainder of any balance is to be brought on to any new loan applied for afterwards. I also have a copy of my vehicle purchase contracts with the false charges and false information on the vehicles I own, and a proof from Volkswagen themselves stating my vehicle is not a Volkswagen tsi HIGHLINE 2015, but rather a comfortline sport edition.
