I recently leased a Mini Clubman from Mini Mont-Royal and the experience was very pleasant. As a salesperson, Jonathan was keen on finding a car that was exactly what I was looking for. He worked with John, the sales manager, to get me a very good deal on a beautiful car. Throughout the process Jonathan was very communicative and informative of the many gadgets and features. At the delivery, Nicola went through the detailed description of the car and was very thorough in his explanation and demonstration of the systems and infotainment console. The rest of the staff was very courteous and nice, especially Faye, who was always eager to offer me coffee or water. I highly recommend considering Mini Mont-Royal if you are looking to lease or buy a Mini. They have set a high standard and I should hope that the rest of the staff will be as courteous and nice when the time comes for service 😊

Update:: Book an appointment for winter change online. Took more than 3hours. Ramy, customer rep, takes his sweet time when I was ready to pay. Very not professional. Crappy service as always. _____ They like to transfer calls. had to spoke to 4 people before reaching out to service.

Abysmal doesn’t even begin to describe this dealership. Brought in an end of lease bmw to trade for a new mini a month ago, and here’s what they’ve managed to screw up in 4 weeks: the bmw is still not noted as being paid off by mini, and is STILL UNDER MY NAME even though I haven’t owned it in over a month. When I took possession of the mini, they gave me the wrong spare key, and said the batteries were probably dead. No, your sales guy gave me the wrong key. When I went to have the key reset (again, they insisted it was a key problem), Ramy said “I can’t just reset it like that, it takes time!”. A mechanic walked by and asked him if he cross referenced the VIN numbers to make sure it was the right key, and Ramy rolled his eyes and said “it’s not that”. It was. They gave me someone else’s key. Unreal. Waited over 2.5 hours for a tire change. Was told the car was in the wash, and an hour later was told “it’s really in the wash now, haha”. Ramy in the service dept is incredibly arrogant, and inept. A set of tires were supposed to be ready “as of” a certain time, I arrived shortly after that, I ended up waiting an hour and a half because “the guys who get the tires were on lunch”. He loves to pass the buck, and nothing is ever his fault. Same with John, the manager. Avoid this joke at all costs. Taking the bus is a better option than buying from them. The only redeeming quality: their mechanics are really down to earth, nice guys. Note the proliferation of 5 star reviews lately....interesting. Rather than fix the problem, they try to gloss it over. Caveat emptor.

Absolute worst service ever! 3 years ago, I leased a pre-owned "certified" countryman and I had nothing but problems since day one. During the first year alone, the car needed to get serviced 5 times for water pump leaks, spark plugs, coils, etc. There were other problems throughout the last 2 years but the cherry on top is today, 3 years later, 3 months before my lease ends, my car needs to be serviced for a total of $650! I have been in contact with both the service and sales department for the last week to get some kind of deal worked out (the hourly labour rate is completely ridiculous). The service department has been directing me to the sales department and viceversa and basically no one can help me. Instead, they are trying to force me into a new lease!! Now finally the service department called me to offer me a 10% discount which is a complete joke. In the past I have dealt with Kia, Honda, Mercedes and Audi and I have NEVER received such unacceptable service.

The service I received from Jonathan was absolutely impeccable. He is so personable, knowledgeable and client focused. He went above and beyond my expectations. I will be returning to mini Jean Talon for years to come.
