This past summer I experienced some mechanical issues with my 2004 Freestar. The vehicle has performed very well since I purchased it in 2009 with only regular maintenance required. However, the vehicle is approaching 200,000 kms and I felt that maybe a place to start was to replace the spark plugs that had been installed at around 100,000 kms. The gentleman, Laureat, in the parts and service departments agreed with me and he also suggested changing the fuel filter. I was unaware that it needed changing on a fairly regular basis (50,000 kms). He assured me it was an inexpensive item and easily done. We set up the appointment and the work was completed in timely fashion. Unfortunately, the issues I was experiencing didn't completely end with that service and required more work, this time with replacing plug wires and a coil. This work was also done in a timely manner and so far I am very pleased with the outcome. Marie-Josee, in the service department is very knowledgeable, very pleasant and very helpful. My experience with this Ford establishment has always been pleasant and willing to help. I am one of a number of Anglophones who own Ford vehicles. My ability to converse in French is adequate; however, when it comes to mechanical issues I prefer to converse in my primary language, English. There are a number of employees at Mauger Ford in Gaspe who speak English and they speak it very well. Definitely, it has been a positive experience dealing with Mauger Ford, Gaspe.

Tres bon service pour notre VR avec moteur Ford 450! il nous a permis de dormir sur son parking en attendant la piece de rechange et comme elle est arrivée plus vite que prévue, il nous a fait la réparation avant notre rendez vous même si nous étions durant la grosse saison touristique. Tres aimable au téléphone.

Le plus pire service que j'ai eu de ma vie! J'y étais pour réparer mon auto, ils l'ont garder pour 2 jours pour vérification et ils m'ont faite loué une voiture de courtoisie de chez national gaspé( pas d'auto de courtoisie dispo au grage) ! au final ils me demande de payer les frais de location car ils ont pas pu identifier le problème et ils peuvent rien réclamer sur le garantie!!!!! Ils m'ont pas prévu a l'avance qu'il y aurait des frais ou autre!!! Sinon j'aurais jamais pris une voiture de location a des frais super élevé.. la femme au service chiolait en plus comme si c'est de ma faute et il me demande de réclamer a ford Canada!!!(toute en sachant qu'on devrait jamais crier sur la face d'un client!!!!) N'importe quoi!..faites attention alors et soyer prudent dans vos choix de concessionnaire! Service Médiocre, pas de respect pour le client!
