I thought I was getting a decent deal for 20$ a day. But almost 22% tax.. Ridiculous

1 star due to not being able to give 0. Zero parking. None at all. Person behind the computer did not seem to know what was going on. Ran our card but count not tell us how much of a hold was put in it. Card did not work. Called cc company. Problem was on Hertz side not our cc. They would not try it again. Left and went to another rental place.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service. The car I was given smelled of cigarette smoke and weed. I was not allowed a new car and could not change companies as the insurance company of the woman who totaled my car would only work with this location. After buying my new car and confirming 3 times that I could drop off the rental at the dealership, leave the keys with reception, and they would come get the car; they still charged me 3 days worth of a rental. They let the car sit at the dealership because they "didn't have a spot in their lot to park it." I told them the dealership is not their parking lot and that the car needed to be picked up that day. I also verified that I would not be charged for them leaving the car there for 3 days and this was confirmed twice. Then, here I find out 3 months later that they charged me for the 3 days it sat at the dealership, 2 whole months after I had returned the car. I then called the corporate office, the woman was extremely rude and never apologized. She said I would get a letter within 7-10 business days with a ruling on if they would overturn it. I never received that, and they only reimbursed about 60% of the charge that I was not supposed to be charged! I've been running around playing phone tag with no luck. Terrible experience, never go to HERTZ, especially not this location or Brooklyn Center. I will gladly UBER or borrow a family car then work with your rude, interrupting, unprofessional staff and DISGUSTING vehicles.

The people there are great. The cars are decently priced. Been there twice will go back again. Parking arrangement sucks.
