Whatever you do, do not rent from these people! It’s the people that screw you! Don’t sign up for the Avis Prefered app, it’s a scam!! $1100 for a $32 a day Kia rental! What??? They charged me over $150 per day for 3 different types of insurance I didn’t sign up for, then the manager is MIA, you can’t call them, they have to call you! I am literally still being charged and no one will help me! Taking advantage of a big pregnant lady to line your pockets with commissions is not only sick, it’s immoral and they should be fired. To make it worse, no one will help us and no one will fix it. After hundreds of rentals for work, I have never in my life been so discussed! Shame on your Avis Corporate, shame on you!

Don't go here!!! Looks like a good deal online but beware!! If u use a debit card & have more than enough$ to rent the car........but a so-so credit score, yes they do a CREDIT CHECK to rent the vehicle, then u will not be allowed to rent it! I will never recommend Avis/Budget for rental to anyone & I will never rent there again!! Rent from Enterprise!! They are awesome, very polite & helpful!!! Enterprise Rocks!!!

When I showed up to pick up my rental, I was given a Volkswagen Passat. I was interested in taking my trip in that. However, as soon as I got 10 miles from the Avis shop, the car displayed a 'Low Tire Pressure' light. I contacted my local Avis immediately and told them I would stop at a gas station and put air in to whichever tire and hopefully, that would take care of it. Alas, after trips to two gas stations and finally a trip to my house to get my manual tire pressure gauge, a different problem arose. 3 of the 4 tires were inflated well above stated range on the car (it was supposed to be 35 psi but these tires were between 45-50 psi). I reduced pressure in all tires to normal thinking that might shut off the 'Tire pressure' indicator light but it did not. I then had to drive the 10 miles back to the Avis Rental place and demand another rental car. This troubleshooting exercise took 90 minutes of my time. I told the manager that I believe that your auto maintenance staff need some training because nobody with any common sense would over-inflate auto tires that much. Whenever I have to do basic maintenance with less than 7000 miles, I wonder just how competent Avis personnel are. This was completely ridiculously. On top of that I had a very long drive with an early morning meeting the next day. Because of this delay, I ended up arriving at my destination at 12:30 AM and got a whopping 6 hours 15 minutes of sleep. Avis needs to up their game; a customer should not have to do maintenance on your cars in order to carry out their trip.
