I was part of a small class which was great because I got a lot of hands on training and a lot of the instructors focus was on me. Byron and James are very knowledgeable and great instructors. I passed my class a, class b both on the first time. They teach everything you need to know to get you your license. I had a great experience here at the academy from the classroom to the yard. Byron knows everything there is to the trucking industry, any questions you have will be answered. Great school over all. I will for sure recommend to friends and family interested in the trucking industry.

This review may be too late but I had to digest my experience for a few years first before I made a comment.I attended CTDA about 6 years ago and was taught by Byron ,Rodney , some other dude who was really cool and his son made it to the minor leagues for MLB his last name was Lamb ...any ways.Class room experience was phenomenal and entertaining Byron was excellent at keeping my short attention span in check. So when we hit the road both instructors Rodney and Lamb were cool calm and collective, I struggled cause I was a coward but eventually got it .At first I felt CTDA was making it up as they went ,Random start times ,having us wait for no reason just standing around, keeping us in the dark .Fast forward 6 years and I’ve come to realize that this is what the trucking industry is like and they were just preparing us for the real thing !Thank you Byron for not giving up on me even tho you did say to me at one point this may not be for me lol! I’ve been driving for 3 years now locally and have been reaping the rewards of this rough industry.I was able to buy a home and start building stability for my family,I still hear Byron and Rodney’s voice when I’m flying down the 91 fwy “hug your left lane” “ Be greedy use up all your space” So if Byron is still running the show I recommend you will be in good hands !!

Called and spoke with i believe a Tina. Very unprofessional for a quote. I explained to her my previous quote with byron and she said he's no longer affilated and that quote is no longer valid due to new ownership and rambled on how there prices are what they are and will stand. She was very rude and didn't have nice things to say about the previous owner. I called back and canceled my appoint and let them know i will not be recommending any one to this school. I highly recommend all students to go someplace else with these outrages price Company suck now !!!!

I had a very good experience with this school. The teachers were great and very willing to help myself along with the other students when we had any difficulties. I never fell behind because the instructors were so thorough with the lessons. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get their class A and earn it in the best way possible.

Just got my Commercial Drivers License on Aug 15th 2018. Best choice I ever made in coming to this academy. Great director, awesome instructors and great equipment. I got the classroom instruction and yard time needed in order to successfully pass my test at the DMV... I highly recommend this Academy to anyone thinking of truck driving as a new career choice.
