Most teachers are incredibly helpful for afterschool help and extra material. Counseling is good for anxious students. Cafeteria food is great and prices are reasonable. Mr. Yoshida's passionate lectures actually makes politics and economics interesting (which I didn't think was possible) and I'm lucky to have been taught by him. For english classes, good literary material is chosen (I really enjoyed The Wars. Even mandatory Shakespeare units were made as easy as possible with help from Mrs. Kapoor) Overall, I believe the teachers really care for their students and actively try to ensure success.

Mr. Yoshida is a teacher here... enough said. And Mr. Dargis, that guy is awesome.

Teachers are very disrespectful and misuse the trust you give them because of their title. It us not a safe place, and they hardly do anything to change that. Though their motto is Royals Integrity, Commitment, and Pride, their is very little of those three values found in the school. If you desire your son or daughter to feel safe and respected pease do not send your them to this school. **If they do attend Grade 12 at CLHS taking the English 30-1 class with Mrs. Kapoor - please, as a parent, read the book "The Wars" by Timothy Findley for yourself before you ignorantly sign a permission form allowing your child to read it.
