Why pay $360 for a driving test and $125 if you fail the test when you can pay $25 at commercial DMV and take it 3 times. At least at the DMV will give you all the info prior to testing. At Southwest in Tucson could not provide info prior to testing but they did everyone else before me. Would not recommend. Very unprofessional.

Awesome school, awesome staff, obtained my CDL in five weeks, got a local job on the same day I got my license. Highly recommended!

I can't give this school 5 stars because I don't have anywhere else to compare it to, but as far as my experience with the school, it's good, I reccomend it, but it's only to give you the basic training to obtain a cdl. The real truck driver training comes when you get your first otr driving job. Real professional drivers go otr for at least 1 year minimum before they go local, my pops drove for 25 years, he was a real pro, my advice is to get a job with an otr company that will train you hands on with a trainer for at least 30 or more days otr, no 1 week or two weeks, it's not enough, schneider is not a good company for beginners, start with a company who have thorough training, that makes sure your got it before they turn you loose on your own, I got stuck having to chain up in the Sierra Nevada for almost 60 miles through the mountains, and I never was shown how to put chains on by schneider, who in the rite mind would send a new solo driver through mountains like those without the proper hands on training. Morons, but I did it by myself, no help and I live to tell about it, ice and snow chain restrictions. Serious stuff. Weigh your pros and co s on the company you choose, and do your research first, dont always believe the recruiters, there salesman, some honest, some not so honest. Any promises you get from a company, get it all in writing, dont just take there word for it. My boss has made me promises and deals that I have yet to see on my paycheck.
