I have been to a few heavy equipment schools before and I do have to say this is a good heavy equipment school I went for the power by the hour where you pay by the hour to lean about equipment and any other technical things that a job is requiring you to know There were two instruters around me the while time to help and teach me new techniques and technology Like any other place they do try there best to help you find a job but you make it happen they teach you the reqired skills to do the job safely and deem you compatent This is not 2014 anymore so the wages are lower I felt the same thing in 2009 when I first went to a operators schools and left making $18 an hour to start but once they see you on equipment and know you can run it even if they can't bump your wage they might give you more hours

Same with me. Could not get a job anywhere. Don't waste your time.

Before I took their rock truck course, they told me by email that the highest demand out there is for rock truck. So I spent roughly $7000+ for that course as well as for tickets. That doesn't include living and lodging expenses. I went out looking for a job with high hopes, considering themfact they made it sound all so promising. I passed the course with flying colors. But when I was looking for work, no job offers. I did with my resume and cover letter everything that I was told to do. Everything. All the advice I was given, I followed it to the letter. No job offers. So after 3 months of job searching, I gave up and went back to the food factory I worked at before and I don't think I will be leacing there anytime soon. I only wish I did not apend 7 grand on this course. That money could've been spent on a house mortgage. Or invested in RRSP's. I found out long after all this that most companies that hire rock truck drivers will not hire somebody they don't know. If you're an outsider, they don't want you.
