The classroom learning was fine although the instructors contradicted what the teacher said so it was confusing. My first instructor Margarette was an absolute nightmare. Swearing and yelling at other drivers, smelt like an ashtray and basically told me that since I am fat I am screwed if I get in to an accident so it doesn't matter where I put the seatbelt. She was a straight up psychopath...In short, I did not finish the course and I do not currently drive. Also YD did nothing about her behavior and they do spread the lessons over months and months to encourage you pay for more.

This was back two years ago when I attended the YD school based on "reputation". Expensive. Paid $1448. Never completed it. Good early part of the program and had good classroom, but the amount of driving wasn't sufficient. The instructor would drop a hint here and there to remind you to pay for additional classes to pass the driving test. An analogy is in-app purchases. I got the hints at the end and left this school.

these guys are just good on paper it seems. I enrolled in their program after paying almost $1400, in-class environment was good, learnt some good things about driving, safety, psychology etc. After that I took couple in-car driving lessons, the lessons in itself were good but due to the busy schedule of the instructor had to spread out almost a month i.e if I take one lesson at the beginning of the month, I will get the next lesson by the end of the month, totally unprofessional business ethic (driving instructors work their ass off, and are overbooked), worst management I have seen in a private company. This is not it, I couldn't get all my lessons in (just got 3 lessons) and my driving road test was already booked, when I asked to cancel my driving test as I didn't get enough practice, they completely ignored me/my emails not once, not twice, but 3 times. The reason they gave - they messed up my name while booking the road test, I am not sure what that has anything to do with not acknowledging my emails. Anyway, I had high hopes with Young Drivers as apparently they have made this reputation, but trust me, it completely sucks now due to poor management and leadership, I think. Driving instructors are great but are overworked and overbooked, if I am you I will look elsewhere for a decent driving school.
