This place now charges $11.03 to dump yard waste, what a rip off as they will make money of it again selling it as mulch. Will never go to them for anything.

Like Alan Parker, I ordered 10 yards of the deluxe garden soil. I was told that it was excellent for raised bed gardens, and could use some additional nutrients, but shouldn't need it. 2 months later, and nothing will grow from seed, and the transplants we put in have all turned yellow and died. I have called a number of times and have been told that their "soil tester" is out of the office, and will call me back shortly. I have yet to receive a call back.

We’ve had such a negative experience with this company. Ordered $3500 worth of lawn soil to grow new grass at our brand new house. Mushrooms came up, lots of them. Had also ordered different soil for our plant beds and no mushrooms in there at all. Called five times before the manager returned our calls. Jenta Madsen, manager, after much difficulty and confrontational behaviour, agreed to get someone in to advise us of how to deal with the problem and refund the costs of extra lime and seed. That was August 2nd...she won’t return emails, calls or texts. Nothing has been refunded still. Having built houses, we work with many trades. Absolutely by far the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Please don’t support a company that doesn’t value its customers and a manager that hangs up on them. Hopefully Jenta will make a bad situation better, but after this amount of time has lapsed, it seems highly unlikely.

I wish I had listened to the previous two warnings about the garden soil. I am an experienced gardener and have been very disappointed with the soil I ordered to fill some new raised garden boxes for veggies. I suspect the "soil" is sand and ground bark mulch. Some seeds sprouted but then didn't grow the first set of true leaves. Some seeds sprouted but then died (yes, I know how to water). Transplants died or just didn't grow. When I called Mcnutts, a man took my number and said someone would call back. That was about six weeks ago...

We use them a lot for our small landscaping business, they are always very nice on the phone, the drivers are friendly and on time. 30-40% better prices for the same quality as anywhere else on most products.
