Amazing school with dedicated teachers, and extremely helpful staff. If you’re wondering which school in Ottawa offers you the best chance at getting your AZ: this is the one. This is coming from someone with no previous experience whatsoever, so the instructors took great care and I feel confident with my abilities for any job in the future. Thanks again!

Amazing school with amazing instructors, so helpful and they make sure you understand the real world of truck industries, give you all the important skills that you will need in the future. *AKA JIM* The best school to go to for AZ program.

I truly appreciate the training I got from this academy. I want to recognize two staff- 1. Jim- Who taught us the driving part and he was respectful, professional, and a great teacher. He gave us plenty of time to practice, and answered questions in a great manner. I'll always remember Jim. 2. Kurt- Who provided in-class theory and he was also really good at explaining. English is not my first language but I understood most of what he explained - I really liked his teaching style. I got my AZ license in first attempt and I look forward to my career in driving. Thankyou Jim and Kurt and other staff of Crossroads Academy!

Fantastic training academy! Very friendly staff and instructors that are more than willing and genuinely want to help you achieve your goals. They tailor the training to the individual as everyone learns differently. They are the only Commercial Truck Academy that I know of that has a training program for students with learning disabilities and all of their instructors are trained to accomodate students with various learning disabilities. I have experienced other Commercial Truck academies and I can say that Crossroads by far is the best! They have multiple campuses in Ottawa, Smiths Falls, and Renfrew with their instructors rotating through all of them. If you are looking to get your commercial licence or even just do some refreshers for a commercial licence you already hold Crossroads has many different programs available and all are very affordable. If you are already employed by a commercial truck operator but currently don't have a commercial truck licence, your employer is able to write off the training cost if they sponsor your training. If you want to know more about this, you can contact Crossroads and they will give you information and show you and your employer how this system works.

"You get what you put in", a statement said to us in class. I saw fellow classmates who did not give it their all, and, I watched them fail. I saw others who struggled but, expressed a deep desire for success and as result, were rewarded with the time and tailored guidance they required to succeed. Crossroads is a family run business and family is what you'll find there. From the moment you walk into the door you will be treated with respect, given all the information you need and you will have a great deal of fun as you train for your future career. Special mention to: Autumn (phenomenal support staff member and a great resource), Roch "Namaste", Phil ( words don't do justice for his wisdom patience and everpresent forethought, a master in the classroom and an example for others ), Ken ( owner/operator and as you know, all good things start at the top, he's the man behind the curtain ), Mr.Don "turn to the side you can see" (with an everpresent smile and one of the kindest hearts you'll find) And of course, Lead instructor Darcy a.k.a Happy Feet "where's my trailer?" (Striking a fine balance between having as much fun as possible in truck and being just hard enough that he gets the best from you.) You will find instructors of nearly every level of patience and with a nearly endless array of techniques at thier disposal to get you the information you need to succeed. Extra care was given after the program ended just to help with some "clerical" issues I had after completion. It was above and beyond what was expected and just another example of how your relationship with the school does not have to end after your course does. Great people, great program, great thanks 🙏
