Realistically this hotel is a 2 or 2.5, but I rated it a 1 because the average google review needs to be lower to reflect the true star rating of this hotel. The decor is 70s style which is fine, but there has not been any remodeling since. The Bad: 1.There were stains on almost every square inch of the carpet. 2.The mattress was so loud that I would wake up every time my wife rolled over in bed and when checking for bed bugs (yes, it was that kind of place). I noticed the mattress had no mattress pad and had stains all over it. 3. There were multiple holes in the wall that had been patched but never repainted. The walls had numerous spots where it was obvious bugs had been squashed but the residue never cleaned up. The good: 1. We never saw any bugs in our room. 2. The sheets and towels were clean. 3. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating 4. We requested a pack-and-play for our baby and the staff actually went out and bought a brand new one for us to use.

Excellent staff and place to stay while visiting Down East Maine. Access to Bar Harbor and other key sites are a quick drive in all directions

Friendly workers, family atmosphere. Personal preference of bed being too hard. No frills or whistles but clean and comfortable. Worth the money. It needs updating but it wont effect your stay and it saved us atleast 75$ to use on vacation.

Rented the pool for my son's birthday. The staff was very helpful and kind. They also provided towels for all of the children.

This is a pretty basic roadside motel. The rooms were large and comfortable. A refrigerator and microwave were provided as well as cable and internet. The location was convenient to Acadia without being so close to Bar Harbor that the price was exorbinant.
