Nice decor, felt very fancy. the staff were efficient and lovely. The DJ was too loud for the space, as we could barely hear each other most of the night. even while just eating. (That probably isnt related to the venue though - just the DJ!)

This place is nice and open for a reception, but that is about it. They wouldn't serve drinks, even water unless the wedding party was there, then the food was not very impressive at all. It is a decent place for a wedding reception if you have to stay in raceland, other wise go somewhere else

Very beautiful place for a wedding

Feb 10, 2017
Everything about our wedding day was beautiful including the venue Royal Villa except one thing...Danny. His attitude towards our guests, bridal party, and my husband and I was horrible. And add to it, Danny knew we were to take pictures outside. When we got there it was filled with dog poop. He had no staff. I had to direct the wedding myself which meant I had to keep looking for HIM. He lied about things he was did, which I cannot stand. Through the entire process, Danny did not follow through on what he said he would do. We purchased to top package for the venue. I think his issue was because we did not use ANY of his other services and I wanted the wedding my way. Go figure!! Which I think is what he had a problem with. I would recommend the venue if it did not include Danny, but obviously that is not possible.
