Buyer beware. My simple plasma cut piece of metal was well over the quoted price and took 3 days longer to get then I was told. 4 thumbs down!

There was some lead time uncertainty... but the result was alright (after a small correction done on spot) and the costs were within reason. Will be likely doing business with them again.

Cliffs: -Poor communication -Inaccurate lead time/poor planning (in my case the lead time eventually turned into ~2.5x what was originally quoted, and the parts were still not started when I got so fed up that I went and got the parts back) Longer story: I got a quote for some automotive related machine work/welding (relatively minor stuff for a fabrication shop). The person at the counter provided a price and a lead time (a little over a week) which sounded reasonable given that the amount of work was rather small. I agreed to their time and price, and gave them the parts to work on. I also gave them my phone number, and was told I would receive a call on the promised due date. I waited until just before closing to call them on the promised due date since I had not heard back, and apparently my job was pushed back a week due to some large order. I was very frustrated that they decided to completely ignore my due date, and not even call to notify me. Being rather busy at work and not having time to scout out another shop, I went ahead and let them keep the parts to try for the second due date (which is now roughly double their original lead time). I again waited until the newly promised due date to call, and sure enough- they still hadn't touched the parts. Supposedly they had some machine issues, or whatever excuse the guy made up this time- but again, no call whatsoever to let me know what was going on with my parts. They requested another half week extension, but I was beyond tired of the lack of communication and the constant excuses every time I called. I can't vouch for the quality of their work because I told them to stop all work (none of which had even been remotely started), and I went over and picked up the parts one day before they were due on the 3rd revised due date. I strongly suggest against using this shop as they have poor planning skills and poor communication. I feel like I was lowballed on lead time just to get the parts in the door knowing that would keep me from getting the work done elsewhere. My .02- avoid this shop.

Nothing better than someone that will help you get something done when your in a crunch.

Friendly staff and a great selection of steel at good prices. I have been going there for years for material for my welding projects.
