I called eight local Brooklyn shops for price and time estimates. Seven shops broke down various aspects of the project, itemized costs, estimated production time at 7-14 days, and all at a higher cost than HMH Iron Design. In addition to such a reasonable quote, which included all items that other shops dubbed as “extras” (wheels, fine finish, paint), their timeframe was a surprising two days. The project was completed in one, and the quality of workmanship was beyond anything I had expected. I was truly awed by the courteous attitude and professional workmanship of everyone I met at HMH Design, and give the shop my highest recommendation.

I looked all around for someone to help me with a small project - understandably too small for most people - and too small for Steve and his team of craftsmen. However he understood I had a need and he came up with a unique solution to my window and skylight requirements. He was the only person who didn’t offer me “eBay” and “Craigslist” as a solution to my problem. I did a little homework and together his team crafted me exactly what I needed to help elevate the windows and skylights in my home. After seeing the many other craftsmen-like projects he has done and those in the works I can’t wait to use his services for one of our homes. Attention to detail and truly caring about the finished product and his customers is evident in how he runs his business. A diamond for sure.
