We called Reinier after spending some time at the BC Home and Garden show and visiting his website. We have a 30+ year old home with established backyard and wanted to redevelop a large portion of our backyard including deck and grass while maintaining the existing character of the property. Reinier worked with us to identify requirements and developed an overall design that we really liked. He was very helpful in engaging contractors for quotes and we engaged him to project manage the implementation of the design. We were very happy with his work. He was very responsive to questions and very helpful in coordinating the work and seeing it through to completion and our satisfaction.

Our planned project for this year was to landscape our very small backyard into a relaxing, useable, inviting space. We found Reinier Van de Poll Designs at the Home and Garden Show this past winter and invited Reinier to do a consultation. We were very impressed with his knowledge but also his ability to really listen to what his clients want. We are thrilled with how our "Tiki" backyard turned out! We absolutely recommend Reinier!

We met Reinier on the Home and Garden Show and called him in for a consultation and backyard design. We are typically DIY people not very used to hiring contractors but working with Reinier was a very pleasant experience. He handled the process very professionally, paid attention and met all our requirements, and most importantly - designed our backyard better that we ever could. Now the project is done and it looks fantastic!

Our yard is very small, but the landscape plan was designed to create a space that appeared much larger and allowed for more usable space. Reinier communicated well with us, showed up on time and listened carefully to our needs. Recommendations were made for materials that look beautiful. The contractor was reliable and efficient....work was completely swiftly, with expertise and we were left with a clean and neat worksite each evening. I would definitely recommend Van De Poll Garden Design!

Great results. Reinier is easy to work with. He listens to your ideas and incorporates them into the design together with his vision. His years of experience are apparent. He can connect you with a great selection of contractors to ensure professional results. Reinier is a good example of why you hire a professional to tie it all together vs. going it alone. Thanks Reinier.
