Maryanne was awesome helping my husband and I pick out a new Christmas tree and some decorations!! Definitely ask for her! She was very helpful and wonderful with my two kids running around!!

I love this place. My only complaint is the prices are too high. The plants and supplies are of good quality. It's the only place in town now that Semrau sold out to a big corporation. The service there is terrible! At English Gardens it's the exact opposite. Hope it stays open forever.

Prices tend to be higher, but quality of plants is always good. If you look carefully, you'll find "manager's specials" that can be a great buy. With a little TLC the plants can come back, and sometimes they are in excellent pots. Staff is usually willing to help give seniors pieces of plants that they intend to throw away that can be used to root new plants. I've purchased partial bags of soil from there as well when available.

I was asked if I need any help, so I was acknowledged and more than once. The have a nice sale going on and many variety of flowers. I was not busy, but that's what made shopping nice. I was greeted once I went to check out and when I drive around to the side to get my mulch and she loaded on my car for me. I had a great experience.

Dear owners of English Gardens: your store manager told me on Black Friday that fresh cut Fraser firs were not available this year in the 6-7 foot sizes, because "they ran out." I've been buying them there for years, so I was disappointed to be forced to go to Lowes, since their Fraser firs are historically not cut as fresh to the end of November as your supplier. I noticed that the Balsam trees were available for the "special" $25 Black Friday price, which cracks me up, because you can buy one of those at any tree lot for $20. Your regular price is $60...which is a joke for a tree with weak branches that don't hold up to hanging ornaments. I'd rather support a small business than go to a big box store. Please make sure you get Fraser firs in stock next year in the 6-7 foot size. Thank you.
