Jokeridge, the owner likes to hire Cuban immigrants that don’t speak English.the immigrants will work like dogs and not complain because they are happy to have a job and don’t want to get deported so they tolerate less than poor working conditions just to get paid.this company is a revolving door for labourers, drivers and heavy equipment operators as the pay rate is below average and the work atmosphere is toxic at best,in the office and in the field.the company classifies equipment operators as outdoor workers so as not to pay full wage, promises of getting into the operator union, dangling carrots so to speak.extreme favouritism to certain employees and drivers.they claim to be family oriented but demand a 6 day work week from sun up TIL sun down most days.i worked as an operator for 3 years with no recognition or appreciation, when I didn’t return to work the following season I didn’t even get a call to ask why I didn’t return.i do not recommend this employer to anyone,go to cedar springs instead

Had the pleasure of working along-side The Oakridge Group on a project in Grimsby. Scott Fraelic, and his team were clear on the requirements and customer expectation as it related to shading their seating area. From planning through installation, Oakridge kept us informed of changes to the site, and schedule. They did a great job managing the project and the multiple contractors involved, and it showed in the end result. Awesome project. We look forward to future collaborations.

Today, May 9,2017 a crew showed up to fix my front yard as it had been contracted by Hamilton City Hall to fix previous excavation and sewer work done by the city. Two trucks showed up. One with the crew and one with which I can only assume was the superviser . They began pointing at the ground and gesturing, speaking in a language that was not English. I politely said "excuse me" 3 times before the (assumed) supervisor looked my way. I asked them to please speak english so that I would understand the work that was about to be done. He looked at me and said " It`s none of your business" Bam! I shut it down and called the city. They will not be returning. A homeowner has every right to know what ANY repairs to their property will entail.
