Simply the best in industry.

Feb 14, 2017
They are the company responsible to do the landscaping and winter maintenance in my townhouse complex in Toronto. They've been here for a few years now. In the beginning, they were great, but as soon as the 2nd year started, they got lazy, had poor work ethics, basically everything no one would want a landscaping company to do. To keep this review short, I'm going to narrow it down to 2 main things that many of my neighbours share. 1) This winter (2016-2017), they hardly came in to do any snow shovelling. Sure, the main roadway, was cleared, BUT all of our driveways and sidewalks were NEVER shovelled. They would instead, send ONE person with one pickup truck in the wee hours of the morning (usually around 2-3am) to spread an OBSCENE amount of salt all over the place. Uneven always all over the driveways, all down not leaving his truck, just lazily backing his truck on the driveway and dumping piles of salt. The area in front of our entrance doors are usually never salted, or have piles of salt dumped (refer to pictures I have attached). Many of us have actually voiced our opinions to the company and our condo association about the ridiculous amounts of salt being put down, but nothing has been done, and it seems like the amount of salt has increased within the last few days. More frequent and increased salt spreadings. I'm aware that our association must pay for the salt they are putting down. Spring Flowers is abusing that and wasting our money. The quality of salt they use is also horrible. Large bits of rock dominate the mixture, hence many of us sweep the mixture away to avoid damaging our vehicles. 2) During the spring and summer, the landscapers often complain to the association that the residents aren't taking care of their lawns because almost all of the edge areas have been yellow. They blame us for not watering our lawns. WELL... I did a few soil sample tests last summer of our soil and it showed that there is too much SALT content. SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Hmmm.. I wonder where all that salt came from?? In the summer, they often skip large areas of grass cutting or not come at all for their schedule time in the week. In the fall, when there are leaves on the ground, they blow it all into the back areas of our units, instead of gathering them up, and brown bagging it. Other times, residents themselves take the time to rake their lawns and leave the leaves in a neat pile at the corner of their lawns for the landscapers to take away. But NO... instead, they blow them right back onto the grass or into their flower beds, or into the side yards at the units that have them. That's enough ranting on my part. Talking about this company and their HORRIBLE work ethics just boil me up. Don't believe what they are showing on the website. They're just pictures... they can get those anywhere! I can't believe they only have ONE Google review so far. And 5 stars? PLEASE?!?!
