Got a pedicure with my boyfriend and they were very friendly and did a great job

I've been coming to them for years when I was younger, they never did a good job, but they made do for what they were needed for, so now after years I decided to try them, out ( being more experienced) well now they're a bit better but now they want to seem to rip people off, by charging them $40.00 for a plain white set then $40.00 for a " fill ", yes, I know it's only $40, but they want to charge theame amount for less work? It does not make sense. No where else does this, AND THEY DO A HELL OF A LOT BETTER, and while I asked to speak to someone else, you can hear the so called manager talking about me and laughing while passing the phone to someone else ( because I asked to ) . Do not recommend this place,
