Terribly unorganized. We called first to make sure they had availability for four people at one time (we knew it was right before the holiday, so we wanted to make sure anywhere we went had enough staff on hand and weren't too busy). They told us to head right over and that they would be able to get us in, no problem. Three of us started with pedicures and one of us started on a gel manicure. (We later decided that all of us pedicure girls would also do manicures after we finished pedicures. They also told us this was no problem.) They got our gel manicure girl's polish soaked off (they left her for about 30 minutes with the cotton and foil on) and then they stuck her hands in the bowl of water and left her again. They finished all three of our pedicures, got through two of our manicures, started on the third girl's manicure and our first girl (the one whose hands were soaking in the water) hadn't even been attended to yet. Her hands were still in the water. The staff seemed more interested in socializing with the other clientele and each other than helping us at all. The woman who did my nails seemed bored and in a big rush. Her pushing back of my cuticles was barely a touch, let alone a push. When I asked her to clean up and file off the gel that was on my actual skin instead of my nail when she was finished, she seemed annoyed that I was asking her. It was her bad job to fix so I don't know why she was so bothered by it. I'm usually not picky or one to cause an issue, but this was exceptionally poor service so I had to write a review. Please save yourself the time and go anywhere else. Leaving a client sitting for over an hour before you even start her nails is absolutely unacceptable.

My friend and I decided to treat ourselves to some self-care and me-time. We sat next to each and the owner attended to her and I had another person. The differences in quality of service was very evident. The lady was rough and acted as if I was not a paying customer. When she completed scaling my feet, I said that there were areas on my feet that still had dead skin remaining. She looked at me and said "I did it twice". The question was not how many times she did it, but rather, the quality of her work. She became visibly upset when the owner asked her to do it again and she began to speak in her native language, as she dug into my skin. I was horrified. She then turned the piping hot water directly on my leg until I jumped - I could feel my leg burning from the hot water - no apology. She then applied the lotion but refused to rub it into my skin. I looked down and streaks of lotion was all over my legs - I had to bend over and massage it into my legs - no apology. She applied nail polish without the slippers, walked away without sitting me under the nail drying machine. She never returned - just left me sitting in the chair. After the owner brought my friend over to the nail drying machine, she turned and saw me still sitting in the chair and asked if I wanted my nails dried. Should that question have been asked? She then realized that I did not have slippers on and now attempted to put slippers on without touching my toes. What was most disturbing about this horrific experience was that the owner was attempting to excuse and justify her staff's unprofessional behaviour. I was told she might have left me in the chair so that I can relax - really? I would like to remind the owner that 'all' customers are to be treated with respect and dignity - you cannot be burning customers - that is not only unprofessional but it is negligent. Respectfully, Dr. Haynes

I went to get a fill on my acrylic nails. The woman working on me told me they were too old to fill and would need to be replaced. Fine, no problem. Instead of removing my nails properly she ripped them off my fingers. It was painful and ripped my natural nails underneath. I told her it hurt and she just told me my nails "looked really bad. Like you did them yourself". So now I have no nails so I figure I'll just get her to finish my new nails and never come back. At the end she insulted me and told my I need an eyebrow wax. Never going back.

I've been to all of the nails salons in Spruce Grove and Jenny of Q-Nails Tri Leisure Village is the best one I've had. I would never go anywhere else! Hands down!
