I wanted a new set of acrylic nails and decided on Welcome Nails due to their great reviews. Ruby was fantastic!! Super sweet and friendly. This is the happiest I’ve ever been with my nails. I’ve always done a rounded square shape but this time decided to go with an almond shape. I absolutely love them. They are perfection! Everywhere else I’ve gone has taken a minimum of 1.5 hours for a new set and Ruby was done in under an hour. Highly recommend Welcome Nails!

My visit was on or around 19-Feb-22 it was my first time visiting. I was in a hurry to get a French gel manicure before the evening I was going out and Walmart Regal Nails didn’t have any opening for another hour. This salon said they could get me in right away and I was happy with that. When I arrived there were two ladies working and 1 person was having their nails done. The one lady that was free was going to do my nails but she seemed very unsure of herself.. she cleaned up my nails and it was before the polish that she asked for confirmation if she should paint my nails or switch out with the other lady. The other lady said no to continue doing my nails. It was at this point that I started to feel unsure about how well experienced this lady who was about to paint my nails was. I was trying not to stare because it makes me feel like I am putting too much pressure on them but I wanted to see the progress. Out of the corner of my eyes I see that the nails do not look very good at all.. she asks me how the tips are since some people prefer thicker tips vs. Thinner and I check and hesitate as I am not impressed with the job so far but ask her to put a little bit more thickness on the painted tip. Then she asks me again and I say it’s okay. I feel embarrassed to say that they look horrible so far I was hoping it would get better. I also don’t want to discourage and say they look bad before she has a chance to correct it.. by the end of the nails I thought maybe she will get a quality check by the other lady first. (It seemed like mother and daughter). I went to go wash my hands and I can feel how uneven the polish rests on my nail, it wasn’t smooth.. I was surprised when I went to pay. I knew the lady wasn’t proud of her work and I felt rushed out of there too. When I got home I was in tears because I felt like I wasted over $50 and I still had to get my nails done. I went to Walmart Regal Nails right away and told them of my experience and they fixed my nail polish. She charged me less at Regal Nails than full price because the manicure part was done and she felt bad for me. I tried to write a review for a long time and could not find any place to write one. It seems on Facebook they only allow recommendations not ratings. Anyways I deleted my post on Facebook because it showed up as a recommendation to the salon not a rating of my experience. I thought they may reach out to me around that time that I wrote a message but they didn’t. That’s fine though I just wanted to share my experience.
