I visited Aydin's Nails & Spa yesterday to get a basic manicure done as well as remove a shellac manicure I had before. My experience was nothing short of horrible. I had asked the girl to take off all of the shellac with acetone and cotton as it is normally done. She proceeded to sand it off and just begin my manicure after I had told her it was bumpy. I told the owner that I did not like how it was bumpy and he proceeded to tell me that its just how my nails are, when clearly the shellac was not removed properly. His demeanour and the way he was speaking to me was very condescending, rude and racist. The manicure was also rushed and the girl applied the top coat right away without waiting for my nails to fully dry. They obviously got smudged very quickly due to that and another girl came to fix it, only to make it worse. I am left with the polish bubbly smudged and chipped. Will not be coming back to this spa again, overpriced and no lack of respect for clients.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. A man (I’m assuming it was the owner) did a complete hack job on my gel nails. He was rude the entire time, and talked back to me every time I asked him to fix something. The gel is very thick and bumpy, the edges are jagged and unpolished, and one nail is completely crooked. I was there for an hour and a half and finally gave up because I needed to leave for another appointment, and when I called back to ask if I could return so he could fix those things he yelled at me, said he would charge me, and hung up on me. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SALON. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life after 5 years of getting my nails done. ***For reference, I’ve attached a picture of my nails the previous time I got them done so you can see what they SHOULD look like.

DO NOT COME TO THIS NAIL STUDIO. I have never experienced such unprofessional and appalling behaviour before in my life from the male owner. He admitted that he not only has no formal training in doing nails, but then proceeded to do a TERRIBLE job while blaming all flaws on our preexisting nails. Whenever issues with the length/shape of the nails or inconsistency of polish were brought up, he was extremely rude and confrontational to the point where we felt bullied into accepting his subpar work. When we called back later to see if it would be possible to have the nails fixed at a later date, he yelled at us and hung up the phone. NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. Truly disgusted by his conduct and I hope he seriously reconsiders his attitude if he ever wants to retain his customers.
