Really happy with the gel manicure I got at Michelle Orchid! Made an appointment and they were on schedule when we arrived. My manicurist did a nice job with the design I described to her, and the gel is smooth, and I’m really happy with the shape of my nails (I had cut my own nails horrendously before so she really improved them haha). My friend was also very happy with her manicure and the employees were flexible when she wanted to change her polish color after seeing one finger done.

I got an acrylic fill done at Michelle Orchid nails, I had one broken nail, and after 2-3 weeks, my middle finger nails always lift. It started off okay, but midway through the nail tech asked me if I wanted my cuticles cleaned. I have learned over the years, if they ask the question, it means its an extra charge. I am always displeased when this is an extra charge, proper cuticle prep is an important step in preparing the nails for a fill, so the fact that this isn't included is always a red flag for me. Just as the tech was going to apply new acrylic, I had to point out that the lift on the middle fingers had not been attended to. instead of filing away the lifted portion, the entire nail was removed, and remade. In the end, I was charged $5 'repair' for the 'new' nail placed on my middle finger, and another $5 as the broken nail 'needed repairing'. I understand if I come in for a repair mid-way through fills that would constitute as a repair, however I was shocked that simply adding more acrylic to the one nail, and choosing to start the middle nail from scratch instead of properly filings to prepare was chosen. I at no point was given my own file or nail buffer, the tech used well-used equipment instead. In the end, the result is nice, the nails are a good shape and length (after much coaxing to shorten my nails). However, I was not happy with the additional charges instead of having my nails properly prepped for the fill. Update: My gel polish began chipping before 2 weeks was even up, and a nail that I paid for them to 'fix' popped off after only 2 weeks.

I have a few nail salons near my place and this one was the last that I wanted to give a try. This place is by far one of the best places I have gone. The lady who did my nails was very patient and precise. I am so sad to forget about asking her name. I will go there again and hopefully, they will be the same every time.

I did a Acrylic Full Set in Michelle Orchid Nails salon and it took about 2 hours and after I went home I saw that it was the worst nail Acrylic I had ever done and I called the salon and they said they would fix it again and because I had to going on a business trip, I could not return immediately. after 1 week when I left, they said you were late and they want to charge me for fix my nails, but this is not a worst thing, the worst part is that after 2 weeks my nails fell out completely and I realized One of my nails had a fungus and they are not responsive.

I’ve been going to Michelle’s Orchid for years. After the new ownership, the quality has increased immensely and I am always amazed by their excellent work and customer service. They make the experience very personable and even give each customer their own buffers (extremely clean environment). Everything is well spaced out and each manicure/pedicure comes with a relaxing massage and hot stone therapy. Nothing but amazing things to say about the team here! They create a tranquil and relaxing environment for all.
