I gave Yours Truly a chance several times because it’s close to home. Prior to this, I had tried one other place close to home since leaving a great nail tech who was a bit too far from where I’d moved to. On my first appointment at Yours Truly, Helen told me my acrylic nails had to be removed because they were lifting and putting me at risk if infection. Okay no problem. I paid to have them removed and for a new full set. On my next acrylic fill appointment, I was treated quite poorly. As my first appointment with Helen only took an hour, I had scheduled something else two hours later. I was at Yours Truly for nearly three hours for just a fill this day. They had me in with another tech who was fantastic and meticulous but very, very slow. Part way through, they tried to make me wait for Helen to apply my polish and I said I couldn’t do that due to timing (I had already delayed my other appointment). Helen loudly made snide comments about me suggesting I was impatient. I let it go. One more acrylic fill appointment at Yours Truly. Imagine my surprise when I came back another fill at Yours Truly 3 weeks later only to be told what I was told my first appointment - my nails were putting me at risk of infection and had to be removed. I had only been to them for my fills since my first appointment where the first removal and new full set happened. I paid for a removal and manicure but didn’t allow them to put on a new full set. Yours Truly seem to pack in clients by booking too tight and/or double booking. They assume everyone can come back in “15 minutes” and that they have all day to get their nails done in stead of respecting appointment times. Clearly they also try to find ways to make extra money off you. Helen does great nails but I’ve also overheard her pressuring customers to book lash extensions with her in ways that were demeaning and insulting to her clients’ appearance. I’ve since gone back to the nail tech who is further way from my home but she’s reputable, sanitary and does great work. You get what you pay for and sometimes it’s worth it to travel a little further for quality work.

I decided to give this place a try since I'm new to the neighborhood. Very nice, little place with friendly staff. They took the time to explain to me how they did different styles. Love my nails!!! This was my first time doing tips and acrylic with gel and they are perfect! Love them. FYI - They only take cash, debit and etransfer so make sure you come prepared.

Great customer service! Had me put up my feet while I waited and was super accommodating. I’ve never had long nails before and I was nervous I wouldn’t like them but I am ecstatic about how they look. I won’t go anywhere else for my nails.

It was my first time at Yours Truly. A man did my manicure and a woman did my pedicure. The woman was nice and gentle while handling my feet (5 stars for her). However, the man was so rough, bossy and seems like in a rush even though no one else was waiting (2 stars). He was rough when buffing my nails that my thumb cuticle area was bleeding. He saw it but didn't say anything to me. It was hurting for a few days. Secondly, he was so bossy. When he wants me to put my hand under a UV light, he just points or only says "switch!" He was so unpleasant. It was supposed to be a relaxing time for me but because of him I didn't have a pleasant time there. I would come back there but only if the woman is available.
