The store is fine. I just wish they would reconsider having people bring in their own reusable bags. I believe that you are putting your faith in the cleanliness of others, which is never a guarantee. I appreciate that you offer paper bag service at 15 cents a bag. I do understand your concern for single use plastics and I agree but with everything on hold presently, including life, perhaps this agenda could also be put on temporary hold. I feel right now single use plastic bags may be the healthiest decision. Isn't it ironic?

About as good as a Safeway gets. Small-town location doesn't have that "dealership" feel in the produce section, but you'll find what you're after and it'll be fresh and clean. Relatively central location and a large, accessibility-friendly parking lot. Also co-located with other stores so you can get most shopping for your "consumables" done with one parking stall. Restaurant nearby if you're bad at shopping hungry. Close enough to the hotel to be useful if you're staying at the Super-8 (same large lot, not seperated by a crosswalk or anything).

So I arrived here early one morning just tired for a coffee and decided to get a breakfast sandwich and I didn't catch her name but the wonderful lady who helped me gave me such a smile that I kept all day! So the customer service at the Deli was spot on thank you!

Modern and bright - clean and well spaced - not like some Safeways where two trolleys won't fit side by side in an aisle. Overall not the largest selection, but very good for the essentials. Appreciate all the extra steps taken for covid guidelines at the moment!
