Relaxing day

Visited DT Nails on the "one way" in Langley, BC. Had a pedicure that included a lovely calf and foot massage. The ladies were attentive and took their time with our pampering and allowed my friend and I to chat while they went to work on our feet. Clean, nice décor and good price point. I'd go back and actually have plans to take some friends in November.

Been here for pedis and thought we would try nails….. Tracy not only took the challenge of nightmare before Christmas nails but a fabulous job!! Both her and Stepanie dod our nails last night and we didn’t get nails that fell heavy from acrylic. They are light and shaped perfect. Stephanie have my dtr coffin shape and it’s first time in a long time she has had true coffin shape!! Will def go back!!!

Tried this place out for the first time and got a french shellac done. Lady who did my nails was sweet and prices were affordable but the tips were not even. Some tips were thicker than the rest so I ended up filing them myself to make it look somewhat even and decent looking. Maybe I'll come back and try a different nail technician next time I visit.

Seems to be a trend starting with salons, charging for shellac removal. DT charghing $5 to remove. My pedicure took an hour and a half. I think the woman was just learning? Not sure, she couldnt speak English. They dont use liners in the tub and I didn't see a sanitizer for the tools. At the end once the polish was applied, they use a little paper fan to dry the toes. Overall it took too long, not 100% on the sanitation. I think a spray quick dry or regular drier would be helpful.
