So many issues that left me unsatisfied with La Lotus. I booked for a 45 minute regular polish pedicure and Ire, the technician, only told me 30 minutes into the appointment that it does not include the dry time and it would be an additional 20 minutes. I had another arrangement to get to, so I quickly told them to use a gel polish instead to save time. This annoyed me already because I only wanted a regular polish pedicure, and had they been upfront with how long it would take, I could have booked earlier rather than pay for a gel pedicure that I didn't want. But it gets worse. The technician did a poor job with the pedicure. First of all, she did a poor job with matching my pedicure colour with my manicure colour. I was not happy with the colour, but she proceeded anyways. Secondly, as you can see in the photos, there was flooding and they did not let the gel cure properly, so it peeled as soon as I left the salon. Lastly, the pedicure included removal of calluses, but this was also poorly done and my feet are still feeling pretty rough. I told the receptionist about my dissatisfaction, and they did not listen and still made me pay the full price regardless of the poor workmanship. I now have to return to the salon to get it redone, causing an inconvenience to me. You should not be paying full service prices for poor quality work & inconveniences caused by it. I am very disappointed as I have had previously good experiences at La Lotus. Maybe it is just a stand alone case. In that case, I recommend you avoid service by Ire. Unless I can somehow get my money back or be compensated for the inconvenience, I will continue to express my disappointment with La Lotus.

Went here for the first time ever but probably wont visit again - at least not for a manicure. I called and booked an appointment and asked the lady if they'll be able to do any simple nail art in regular nail paint - and she assured me they could do some simple stuff. I got there the next day and they didn't have any record of my appointment, nor of my request. When I finally sat down with a manicurist she told me that nothing at all would be possible with regular nail paint and that I had to get a gel nail paint. I've never gotten gel manicure done but I trusted her *expert* opinion so I agreed. She did some design for me and then rushed me out the door without a massage because "her regular client had showed up." I had asked for a luxury manicure since that includes a longer massage and more nail care, but she did none of that and just took the liberty to give me a gel manicure - only telling me *after* the manicure that she wont be giving me the luxury manicure services since her regular client was there. I paid, and left. I loved the nail design, which is such a shame because if I had received better service I was going to make it my go-to place. Really, really disappointing for my first nail appointment in Vancouver.

I love getting my nails done here! My nails always come out looking great and they last on tropical vacations. Attached 1.5 week nail after 6 hours of snorkeling.

I have been going to see Vivian at this spa for over a year and I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing her work is. Her knowledge and craft is incredible. I brought her in a photo of what I wanted and left with nails that looked 100 times better then the photo due to Her attention to detail. The spa itself is clean and inviting, The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great staff and facility. Also very awesome designs for nails and some of the best nails I've ever had in Vancouver! But very hard to book times/rebook because they're very busy
