Really hate being negative on here but I cannot leave this unsaid. Got a full face wax done here today and to begin with it felt as if the lady was rushing through it. Next problem, she did not even apply anything to my skin after waxing it which I’m not sure is normal there but usually you get something. She only put aloe gel on one part of it because I asked. The worst thing, I left this place and my face was quite red which is completely normal. I got to the car, blinked and noticed I had wax all over my eyelid and other parts of my face. The aloe gel was clumpy and not rubbed in at all. AND, to top it off as the redness died down I was left with 3 cuts on my face! One on my eyebrow, above my lip, and chin. What a nightmare. Sorry to whoever that was but I’m completely shocked.

The first time I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted here they were perfect, but I believe the girl that did them has since moved to bliss wellness spa. I’ve gone back twice and both times was I left with tragic eyebrows. The second time, I was left with two very asymmetrical brows and the third time, I had.. bubbly looking brows? Not sure how to describe them, but they were very rounded, even at the start where they should be square-like, and I do have naturally arched brows, so this was very unpleasant. And to top it off, the tint was messy, it looked like it was not cleaned up at all around the edges and that she just kind of carelessly slapped it on. The ladies are friendly, however I will not be returning.

I would like to start off by saying the nail technicians were very friendly. The manicures, however, left much to be desired. They were okay, although there were large spaces of bare nail left unpolished, and the polish itself was not applied as nicely as one would expect from a professional establishment. What really soured the experience though was the demeanour of the receptionist. From the time of the booking to checking in for the appointment, we were made to feel as though we were being a nuisance. Especially since we booked the appointments as gifts; we were made to feel that it was an incredible burden placed on them that the people receiving a manicure was not the people who booked the appointments. Overall, the experience was not very pleasant. I expected far more for the price we paid and from a business that is trying to portray itself as being high-end. We did not leave feeling like we were on cloud nine.

Wonderful pedicure and I'm never disappointed with the results when I have my eyebrows done.
