First nail salon to be located inside of Polo Park Mall and it goes above and beyond my expectations! Incredibly clean, lovely decor, welcoming receptionist and knowledgeable technicians who provide quality service and care about clients natural nail health. After visiting Almond I no longer go anywhere else. Almond did my gel set exactly how I wanted it, with detailed design work exceeding my expectations. The technician was so kind and talented. The polish on my pedicure has already lasted me 3 weeks without any chipping. Highly recommend!

The nail techs were friendly and wonderful, but I found the woman at the front quite off putting. I do not typically go to other places but the place that I normally go to closed so they could move to another location. I really needed my nails done and I booked the first slot that I could find. I can appreciate people not necessarily being "people" persons, but I found that the woman at the front to be a little awkward, and slightly rude. It seemed as if I was a hassle from the start (now, don't get me wrong- it may not have been the intention however, I am specifically focusing on IMPACT). I had showed up early- it seemed as if she was a little annoyed that I showed up 15 minutes early (I like to be punctual) and I had one broken nail and one was lifting. I felt bad for the nail tech because I could tell that she really wanted to just make the extra time to finish my nails but the front woman clearly wanted her on a schedule (which, from a leadership standpoint is a bit of a read flag) and I would have taken an extra 20 minutes because I had to get a new nail and one needed to be re secured. Apparently, they had to switch the nail techs after the first one was half way done my set, which is strange. Not sure what they were thinking there but it's simply a little odd- I've never dealt with that anywhere else. Both Lisa and Brittany were great at their jobs no doubt, but I didn't understand the need to switch me in the middle of the session. I get the opening growing pains and such but as a leader, you need to be flexible and make reasonable accommodations and I don't think it would be unreasonable to just have one nail tech do my nails. All you have to do is let the next client know that their tech is running a little behind and I'm absolutely certain they would understand! I didn't even ask for nail art or anything! A little organization and flexibility go a long way- this is not meant to make anyone feel bad about themselves, but it's important to receive poignant and specific feedback! I hope this helps improve your business, but I don't think I'll be back any time soon.

Beautiful new salon! The esthetician did an great job on my nails. She was friendly and professional and paid great attention to detail. She had also asked me if everything was to my liking throughout the service. What a great addition to Polo Park mall! Thank you for the great experience Almond Nail Bar!

Today was my first time visiting Almond Nail Bar in Polo Park. When I arrived , I was greeted by Diana ( the receptionist) who was kind , welcoming and professional. Brittany was my esthetician who did an amazing job giving me a pedicure. Not only was she friendly and professional, she paid great attention to detail. She had also asked me if everything was ok and to my liking throughout the service. I had also met the manager who was easy to talk to and very informative. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean. It’s well organized and you can tell they care about their clients. What a great addition to Polo Park mall ! Thank you for the wonderful experience Almond Nail Bar ♥️

The worst manicure I have ever had. They don’t soak hands before pushing back cuticles. The technician was rough with cuticle cutting. I brought my own nail polish, they didn’t have a top coat. They tried painting my nails but said regular polish was difficult to use. In the end I asked her to stop. My hands look and feel worse after manicure then before I went in. Not everyone want to use a products that needs an acetone bath to take off. I like regular polish, I find it hard to believe that a professional is incapable of applying regular polish. When I told the cashier about my experience she was rude and charged me full price for my service, which included no polish. Shocking customer service, maybe if you have never had a manicure you have nothing to compare it too.
