Such a great experience every time I visit the ladies at Essence Nails and Spa. My bio-gel manicure is the best that I've ever had. Special thanks to the manager Anna- she is amazing at her craft. It's a very nice environment in the salon, super clean, very compliant with the covid protocols and the people are very friendly. I have been to many nail salons in Whitby and surrounding area, and I won't go anywhere else now! Give them a try if you haven't already, you will be so happy!

Owner and staff are amazing! I always love my nails after a visit at Essence. Super clean and organized business. Everyone is lovely and kind and they obviously care their clients. 10/10 would reccomend :)

Love this place! They do absolutely beautiful work here. The shellac colour lasts for three weeks minimum, and a colour change is only $25.

Went first thing in the AM to get a gel pedi and acrylic extensions with gel polish. Cost me $125 including tip. Considering the price the pedi was "okay", but the nails were a bit clunky. You'll find that they don't appreciate it if you ask them to fix/correct something for you, so if you have exacting standards you'll find yourself quite frustrated. The cuticles weren't trimmed - it looked unsightly. This is only my third time attending this place in the 10 years I've been living in the area (the first time devolved into a shouting match :( ). It's unreasonable to feel anxious just to get your nails done, so I'll find a new salon.
