Nails for You

Do not go here! Ive never felt the need to write a bad review before; however, the red flags at this place made me feel the need to share. lots of places in the area with way better integrity, and understanding of business. Satisfactory work in general; but the lack of professionalism is less than deserving of support.

Will never be back and would not recommend for anyone. Booked an appointment for 1145 for my cousin and I, showed up and was asked to take a seat. We waited for 15 minutes, picked our colours; spoke with an employee and he gave us a price of $45 each, which matched what the prices on the sign said. We asked how much longer of a wait and they said 5-10 minutes, but don't leave because then your spot will be taken. We waited another 25 minutes and what appeared to be the last in charge came up to us and explained they were short staffed, because we had waited so long we would get $10 off each, and to go walk around for 15 minutes. At this point we're back in the store and we didn't get started on our nails until 115. The man that did my nails did an amazing job, love the design; however, he never spoke to me the whole time except the odd instruction. My cousin's nails turned out crooked and not the design she wanted. The whole time, the lady in charge, who was doing my cousin's nails kept talking to her and adding on extra prices for random things. She said it was extra to get 3 layers on polish, even though that is the standard, and that length added cost. The whole time my cousin is disagreeing with her and telling her that was not true. We get up to the front to pay and they have me at $45 & her at $50... We're explaining we already got quoted $45 each and the $10 is $35. They argued with us for upright of 15 minutes and they didn't even have the people who did our nails talking with us, they had a random employee. We told them it was ridiculous what they were doing. You can't tell someone a price and then change it after the service is performed without telling them why it is changing. We ended up paying over what was quoted because taxes. We didn't tip because they ripped us off already, which is a shame because the design for my nails was very well done. The only reason they kept upping was the price was to not honour the $10 off that was promised.

I booked an appointment for Friday at 1 pm. Around noon, I called and asked if I could move my spot up as I had errands to run that afternoon. The (I'm assuming owner) said it would be no issue and that there would be time. I showed up exactly at 12:30 and stood at the counter until 12:45 before I was told to take a seat and wait. At 1, I was finally brought colour options without any update on the wait. Finally around 1:10 I was told someone was almost done. I waited until 1:15 before leaving as I had other things to do. Nobody seemed to care that they were 45 minutes late for my appointment. Not even a day later my one nail fell off. Will not return here...

So relaxing! The ladies there were fantastic. I'm very pleased with today's visit!

I had a wonderful pedicure today. The staff were very friendly. Most importantly, they did not rush my pedicure and the place was clean and nicely decorated.
