I don’t often leave reviews but after visiting Essential Beauty Bar, I just had to. I walked in on this salon randomly after reading some reviews online. I was really blown away by my experience. I showed the nail tech a photo of a design I wanted and she executed it beautifully. I’ve never had someone put so much time and care into getting every detail right and making sure you’re happy with the result. Overall it took about two hours to finish my nails and I have never had someone put so much careful detail and work into my nails before. The result is beautiful and I’m so happy I stepped into Essential Beauty Bar today. On top of which, their prices are really reasonable and affordable for what you’d expect to pay in downtown Toronto. All of the staff was welcoming and kind as well. I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend this spot.

This is a great place downtown to get nails done! Everyone is really nice and accommodating. They do a great french tip here and prices are good. Also lots of colours to choose from. Also very clean.

I had a gel/shellac manicure. There was a HUGE selection in colours. The salon seemed clean and there were plastic barriers between the customers and employees. I am very happy with the quality of my manicure. My only minor complaint is that I was charged extra ($6) to have two nails on each hand done in a different colour. Not nail art or anything, just a different coloured polish.

I’ve been across Canada on this visit and I have to say that this place gave the best mani/pedi by far!!! The staff were so friendly and treated us so nicely. This will definitely be my go to when I’m visiting Toronto. Well done and see you soon! 💅

I felt compelled to leave this review today for the unbelievable team at Essential Beauty Bar. This afternoon I came in for a mani/pedi. While I was having my pedicure done, a older man arrived demanding “the whole menu”. This man continued to act erratic, disrespectful, and quite honestly—terrifying. He was rude and crude to his technician and the space was full of women who weren’t sure what do to. Personally, I was terrified but the team immediately sprung into action. They attempted many times to quell the behaviour was gentle reminders. Once it became clear that he wasn’t stopping, all 3 women asked the man to leave in service to the clients in the space. I was SO impressed. They handled the situation confidently and calmly. It was scary and they handled it with grace. A definite recommend. Thank you ladies ❤️
