I called and made a appointment at this place based on reviews, it looked good and needed to get my nails done in TO. Location and initial cost were great. I called about the cost and also asked before sitting how much it would be for a pedicure with regular nail polish, $32. (My mum also came as well). As we sat in the chair, you tell me it’s different cost to remove shellac. Miscommunication at it’s finest, state that there is an additional cost upfront. Be transparent and don’t spring cost on clients after they sit in the chair. After agreeing to the cost, (I didn’t want to go anywhere else, I came because it was convenient) we sat and it was clear that the employees were speaking about us in another language. As English speaking clients, you need to understand how rude and disrespectful it is to be surrounded by persons who speak about you (the client) in front of them in another language. (I understand that it may not be your first language but that’s down right rude and inconsiderate.) Additionally, my mum asked a question about what chemical was being used to remove the shellac from her nails (mind you it was on only her two big toes) because she has sensitive skin and wanted to be sure it wasn’t anything other than the regular nail polish remover. But they didn’t or couldn’t tell us.. another customer had to explain because they didn’t. Very unfortunate that this was the service received considering the rave reviews here got. Everyone is clearly not treated the same and that’s clearly reflected in the service received by employees. I would say that considering that there are so many issues surrounding racism worldwide. I felt a hint of racism, but that’s just me. Definitely not what I was expecting walking into this place.

Wendy does her magic!! I love her work and she does such an amazing job with whatever design you show her. Staff is super friendly and it’s my favourite spot to get my nails and pedicure done.

Don’t honour appointment times for 2 people when booked from early in the day. Arrived and someone who came in after me was taken before. Terrible customer service. Don’t recommend. UPDATE: In reply to your reply… I wasn’t late, in fact I was early, nice attempt at trying to blame a customer and then CV-19 though LOL — when half of you don’t even wear masks properly (or above your noses). After waiting a half hour (after my appointment time) and watching regulars get taken before me and my +1 I left and write this review. Accept responsibility for your overbooking, don’t blame your customer (or would have been customer)! Shame on you!!
