Nice decor and it stops there…

Worst mani pedi ever. I went to this place pre pandemic and it was very good. The new technicians are very inexperienced. Cut one foot nails so short, it hurt. Other foot was longer w nails!!!! They didn’t exfoliate bottoms of feet evenly and it hurt walking. Had to redo when I got home. Do NOT go here! Worst ever!

I found Kathy on Instagram and was very impressed with her profile so decided the hour drive was worth it. Boy was I wrong. The place is very clean and is beautifully decorated that is why I am giving two stars. I have been doing acrylic nails for 4 years consistently every two-three weeks. First of all it has never taken 2 hours to complete acrylic refill with shellac. Secondly, although you the photo doesn’t show the nails are warped the paint job on my left hand is awful, there is paint on my skin and back of nails. Very sloppy. I still paid Kathy and did not complain as I simply decided I would not be a returning customer. As I was driving home I noticed that two nails seemed to be melting off approx 50 minutes after doing my nails. I messaged Kathy (excuse the typo in the photo I was very upset) her response as you can see was that I would get no refund. She was willing to fix the nails however a) I’ve made it clear I live one hour away and I don’t think it would be fair for me to commute a total of 4 hours because my nails began to melt on a cold winter day. I was in my car and of course the heat was on (directed at my feet only) This is the worst experience she was not even apologetic. Again I was never happy even when I left but I am not one to complain and refuse to pay. What really ticked me off was the fact that the nails were melting at the tip. It had been several hours and I did not receive another response I was simply left on read.

Timely and clean nail salon. Lots of talent! Wish there was a bit more professionalism amongst staff. Would recommend if in the neighbourhood.
