I literally never leave reviews but felt this was necessary to share. I will never come here again. I used to come here every 2 weeks before covid happened and had never had an issue. Today I called at 10am when they opened to make an appointment after looking online and trying to book but didn’t see what I wanted listed on their “menu.” I specifically said that to the receptionist and she said not a problem – I wanted a shellac polish change [not the full manicure, just a straight polish change with shellac polish, which I get every 2 weeks near my place in Troy]. I only get an hour for lunch break while in the office and was on a time crunch, not to mention that I didn’t want the full manicure. I walked in and checked in, the receptionist told me to pick my color, when I asked her which colors were shellac I heard a manicurist sitting behind her [presumably the girl that would be doing my nails] start loudly arguing with the receptionist. I had no clue what was happening at first but the manicurist kept saying “not today” and “they won’t let you do that” meaning she was not willing to just do a polish change with shellac on my nails. I felt like she was pressuring me to get the entire thing done to get shellac OR I had to just get a polish change with regular polish, again not what I wanted. I asked how long it would take and that I only had an hour for lunch, she said “it shouldn’t take more than an hour but I can’t guarantee it” PLUS they were gonna charge me to remove the shellac I have on my nails now, so I just said I’d come back another time. The receptionist asked if I was sure and I said yes. I felt super uncomfortable when the manicurist was arguing and just being rude to the receptionist. Not to mention if she was comfortable doing that in front of me [the client], I definitely don’t want her touching my nails or talking to me in a rude tone for no reason. The receptionist had business to tell me that wasn’t a service they offered when I made the appointment on the phone hours earlier. So when I was leaving I heard the manicurist say “great” super sarcastically as I was leaving. Terrible customer service all around and I will not come back to this place. Very disappointing as I used to love it.

I had to cancel my appointments for 12.21.18, because changes were made with my appointments without my knowledge. This the second time this has happened . I cannot see myself paying to be mistreated as a customer. I will not be returning to this place of business. Honestly no stars. Thumbs down. Update! Ten Nail Bar have a lot of liars working for them! The owners/ management are allegedly hiring unlicensed manicurists to work in their shops!

Carl at the front desk has amazing energy, he definitely made me feel at home. It was my first visit and based on his service I would definitely come back.

Good vibes - Carl at the front desk went above and beyond for me, he definitely brings a great aura to the space and the nail techs have done a great job.
