In terms of doing the actual nails, they do an okay job, although I had to tell the lady a few times to fix my patterns and she kinda rushed at the end of it. Also I wish they cleaned around my cuticles more. The staff was super friendly and it was a cute and clean environment. BUT THEY ARE STUPIDLY EXPENSIVE. I called and asked how much a set of gel would be with paining and they said $65. I showed them a picture of the pattern I wanted and they didn't say we would charge extra for the pattern or the color itself. Never have I ever heard of charging extra for painting. So I ended up paying $30 more than I expected. I have done nicer patterns for much cheaper.

They did the best job with the design I asked for! I left really happy and with really pretty nails. Reasonable price too

I don't normally write reviews but I feel like this place deserves one! Jay did my nails and I could tell that he pays so much attention to detail. He would always ask before continuing if I was happy with the shape, or design of the French tip. He took things slowly and he was precise! I got exactly what I asked for. The vibe inside the nail salon is great, it's beautiful, clean and welcoming. I also love the music that they play and they have a TV that plays the music videos when you're getting your nails done so you have a distraction to pass the time. The only downside was that they were a little on the pricier side- $90 before tip- but I'll make an exception as I don't get nails very often! After the experience I understand the pricing, however on their instagram their price list states 50 or 60 for acrylics and +5 for shaping, but I must have been mistaken and that's ok! I'll definitely be coming back here regardless. Thanks Tokyo Nails & Spa!

They did not do the design I asked for and when I tried to tell them what I wanted after one nail, they gave me such an attitude. They also charged me extra for no reason. Do not waste your money

I originally gave them a 5 star even though I was overcharged , felt pain while getting my nails done, and had one of the stones fall off the next day. I was so satisfied with the look of the nails that I thought I'd be nice regardless of my not so great experience and plan on coming back for a new set of nails. I got my nails done on November 3rd and I still have my acrylics on. No amount of soaking or picking is helping me get them off. It's been over a month. After finally successfully getting one of the acrylic nails off, my real nail fell off as well. I wish I listened to the other low reviews...
