I had an appointment with Dr. Annelise Heckert at the Basalt office. I found Dr. Heckert and the rest of the staff professional, thorough and personable. As a new person in the area, I feel blessed to have found them. I had called several offices in Aspen, however, they required me to pay for the office visit, blood work and anything else I wanted up front and then have Medicare reimbursement me. This would have been very costly, possibly thousands of dollars. Because I have secondary health insurance, I am confident that I won't be billed for anything.
