I needed an inguinal hernia repair surgery. I asked a cardiologist friend who he would use for himself and his patients. He recommended Dr. Makipour. He stated none of his referral patients have had problems post surgery. I had the laparoscopic surgery and could not be happier. I did not need any of the prescribed narcotic pain meds. I took 2 ibuprofen before sleeping that night just in case I might have pain. No problems that night or after. I only had minor soreness for several days due to good surgical technique, which leads to minimal tissue trauma, low inflammatory response, minimal swelling, and very little pain. Dr. Makipour has great "bedside" or "chairside" manner as well. As a retired dentist and now a patient of this physician, I recognize good medical practice and I highly recommend this doctor.
