Surgical patient

I needed an inguinal hernia repair surgery. I asked a cardiologist friend who he would use for himself and his patients. He recommended Dr. Makipour. He stated none of his referral patients have had problems post surgery. I had the laparoscopic surgery and could not be happier. I did not need any of the prescribed narcotic pain meds. I took 2 ibuprofen before sleeping that night just in case I might have pain. No problems that night or after. I only had minor soreness for several days due to good surgical technique, which leads to minimal tissue trauma, low inflammatory response, minimal swelling, and very little pain. Dr. Makipour has great "bedside" or "chairside" manner as well. As a retired dentist and now a patient of this physician, I recognize good medical practice and I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Makipour is one of the most impressive doctors I have seen in forever. Very professional and knows exactly what he is doing. I had hernia surgery, the first time I have had surgery. He made all my anxiety and nervousness disappear. I hope to never have surgery again but if so he is the only doctor I would have operate on me. Excellent!

That man saved my life and gave me more time with my family. Great bed side manner. Answered all questions that i had. His office moves very quickly when i needed things done. That rude bitchy red head that sits at the front is the only reason i didn’t give him 5 stars. All times i came to see him she looked like she rather be home. She yelled at me and threw my paperwork. I overheard her saying “i don’t know why his big ass is coming down here our tables won’t hold him either “ and laughed. When she was walking from the back. I wasn’t sure who she was talking bout but i hope she doesn’t talk about all his patients that way. She needs to be fired.

When we had an issue at Dr. Makipour's office, he made sure that he personally took the time out of his day to resolve it. I've never had a doctor do what he did for us. The customer service he provided was awesome. I would highly recommend him and his office.

Great honest doctor who cares for you and your needs.. Would definelty recommend Dr. Makipour to anyone needing Bariatric, cosmetic, Gallbladder, Hernia repairs and many more!!! 😇 He sees patients in 3 different locations including Midwest City, Shawnee, and Seminole!!!!

Dr. Makipour is a wonderful doctor. Came and saw me after surgery and checked on me the next day. Had follow-up and he was very friendly. He took the time to visit for a few minutes.
