In September, 2023, we bareboat chartered Bella Vita, a 53' power yacht out of Desolation Sound Yacht Charters, Comox, and cruised through the Discovery Islands. We have done bareboat charters for our 20 years in many places (Med, Caribbean, Mexico, etc.). This was the best bareboat chapter trip we have experience. DSYC is a 5-star charter company and Bella Vita was the perfect boat. It had Starlink satellite internet (for those in our group who could not resist checking emails and doing Zoom meetings). It also came with 2 SUPs and 2 kayaks - a complete package. The essential electronics, mechanical issues, and appliances all worked great and the engines were very fuel efficient - we only used 364 litters in 7 days! I highly recommend DSYC and in particular, Bella Vita. Take a skipper with you, if you have not done tidal rapids before. This is NOT a place to learn by trial and error.
