I put down a $1000 deposit to charter a boat in June 2025. Sadly, the owner had died in January and the organization was put into probate. CYC announced (just days prior to our charter) that they were therefore canceling ALL charters in 2025 and would refund any deposits. I’m still waiting for mine! Making matters worse, they have completely ghosted me, despite numerous voicemails and emails.
